Funny how a spare 02 January non work day changed my entire idea of interiors and the design in mine. I love simple and very elegant designs. So when our small family owned furnishing store suddenly had a sideboard in stock that I’d loved and coveted a couple of years before, I was in there like a shot. It was indeed the one I’d seen advertised in a very upmarket nationwide store – at a price somewhat above my slender means. However now, in that funny little shop tucked away at the back of town was this most gorgeous design. Plain, with no handles, just excquisite interior design level of simplicity in light oak. Solid wood throughout, no mdf or man made extras. Once this surprise purchase was installed in my dining room, I realised my old ikea table and chairs did not enhance the look. So back to the store, I soon found myself buying the equally gorgeous table and 6 chairs!
